How is West Coast Sourdough Deli strategically positioned in the fast casual food industry?
  • The sandwich market has many concepts competing to offer the cheapest sandwich or the biggest sandwich. We offer the best sandwich, and are able to also round out our menu with soups and salads, giving us the ability to cater to a wider audience, a better demographic, and attract growing repeat business using quality.

Why is the fast casual food industry growing?
  • Today’s consumers have grown up on fast food and full service food, but now want something as convenient as fast food but with full service quality.

Do I need prior experience in the restaurant industry?
  • No. Our extensive training is designed to teach you the skills necessary to operate a successful business. Our owners range from active location proprietors to investor owners employing skilled managers to run their stores.

Why do the start-up costs vary beyond the initial fee?
  • There are several factors which can affect your costs:

  • SIZE (ie, square footage)

  • TENANT IMPROVEMENTS

  • Tenant Improvements include flooring, paint, office space, and more. Effective lease negotiations may result in the landlord contributing up to 100% of these expenses and/or free rent. Although we cannot promise this total savings, some owners have been extremely successful saving thousands of dollars and reducing their start-up costs significantly.

  • PRE-EXISTING ASSETS

  • If the space leased already has existing plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC & other assets in place, the cost of construction can decrease dramatically
