There are certain states that require the registration of an FDD before the franchisor can advertise or offer the franchise in that state. Currently, the following states regulate the offer and sale of franchises: California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. West Coast Sourdough Deli may not be registered in all of the registration states, and may not offer franchises to residents of those states or to persons wishing to locate a franchise in those states. If you are a resident of, or want to operate a franchise in, one of these states, we will not offer you a franchise unless and until we have complied with applicable pre-sale registration and disclosure requirements in your state.
